TUDa IT Security Communication Platform (Matrix) launched

As part of the further development of IT security communication, a communication platform using Matrix Chat was implemented by the IT Security staff at TUDa.
The aim of this communication platform is the target-group oriented, efficient and fast communication of vulnerability reports, warnings, advisories, etc. The platform is also intended to give system administrators the opportunity to post their own warnings and exchange information. In addition, system administrators should also be given the opportunity to post warnings themselves and to exchange information. This should promote the formation of an active community.
The communication platform is to replace the mailing list-based distribution of security warnings by the end of Q3 2022. The associated communication concept and further information can be found here. We invite all system administrators and IT security officers to register in order to stay informed and to participate in shaping IT security at TU Darmstadt.
The HRZ is currently working on a general user offer that goes beyond the restriction to IT security topics.
