New campus license for Mathematica
2025/12/05
Since October 1, 2025, TU Darmstadt has had a new, campus-wide Mathematica license. Mathematica is a software package from Wolfram Research with numerous functions for solving mathematical problems, e.g., in engineering, mathematics, physics, and other natural sciences.
After extensive negotiations and with great commitment on the part of the Physics department, TU Darmstadt was able to conclude a campus-wide Mathematica unlimited contract. The contract has a term of three years (until September 30, 2028) and is financed by the departments that use it most.
Authorized user group and licenses
The software can be used by all lecturers, researchers, and students at TU Darmstadt. The agreement includes network licenses as well as student home use and faculty home use licenses, which allow use on private devices.
