HRZ operates three publicly accessible PC pool rooms for all students at TU Darmstadt. After logging in with your TU-ID at one of the work stations, you can access the internet, retrieve e-mails, work with various software, print and scan.

All PC pool rooms are closed on public holidays.
Please note that the time switch can switch off up to 15 minutes before closing in all PC pool rooms.
You can use PC pools at TU Darmstadt for the following:
The publicly accessible PC pool rooms with a total of 181 work stations provide:
- internet usage
- use of various software
- printing services with several black and white printers and one colour laser printer, each with integrated flatbed scanner
- temporary reservation of pool room S1|03 by subject areas and institutes for teaching purposes

Information about reserved workplaces and reservation times are posted in the pool rooms for the current week.
Who can use the PC pool rooms?
All TU Darmstadt students can use the pool rooms for study-related work without reservation, provided that the respective rooms are not reserved already.
Departments and institutes at TU Darmstadt can reserve pool rooms for study-related work via HRZ-Service.
Students at TU Darmstadt have to register with their TU-ID. By entering the pool room, every user agrees to the binding PC pool rules (in German).
The General Regulations for Use of the Information Processing and Communication Infrastructure of TU Darmstadt (in German) and the IT Security Policy of TU Darmstadt (in German) also apply.
Making reservation for pool rooms and using them is free of charge for subject areas, institutes and students, who are members of TU Darmstadt.
