User Support

HRZ User Support service offers regular on-site assistance for members of the TU Darmstadt in case of PC and IT problems.

Our team of student assistants will advise you on IT problems and help you to help yourself on a wide range of IT topics.

Service features: This is what the User Support service offers you

The consulting topics are very versatile and concern almost all kinds of mobile devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones) with different operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac, Android):

  • Connection problems with eduroam (WiFi)
  • Virus infection of your own computer
  • Help with setting up and updating various operating systems
  • Installing antivirus software
  • Installing the VPN client AnyConnect
  • Help with setting up e-mail clients

Who can take advantage of the student User Support? And where can I find them?

User Support is aimed at all members of the TU Darmstadt. The Support takes place on the Campus Stadtmitte, in building S1|02 room 049 at the times listed below.

During opening hours, support is also available by telephone. Please understand that we give priority to personally present customers and can therefore not always answer the phone immediately.
