Maintenance work: Downtime Websites

+++ Update 26.03.2024 10:30 a.m.: The maintenance work has been successfully completed. Websites are online again. +++ The migration to the new Java platform “Jakarta EE” requires extensive maintenance work on the web server infrastructure, which unfortunately cannot be done without website downtime.
“Java Platform, Enterprise Edition” from Oracle, on which FirstSpirit and the websites created with it are based, was transferred to the Eclipse Foundation. The naming rights have remained with Oracle. As a result this requires a migration to the new Java platform “Jakarta EE” which leads to necessary extensive maintenance work on our web server infrastructure.
Unfortunately, the work cannot done without website downtime. All websites created with FirstSpirit will be unavailable for a maximum of six hours on Tuesday, March 26, from around 9:00 am. As long as the websites are offline, a status message will be displayed indicating the outage.
