With the end of support for Windows 10, Windows 10 systems may no longer be used on the TU Darmstadt network or for mobile operations from 15 October 2025 onwards.

For devices that cannot be updated to Windows 11 for compelling reasons, HRZ Software Management offers central procurement of Windows 10 Extended Security Updates (ESU) licences.

The programme makes it possible to continue receiving critical and important security updates for systems registered in Windows 10 ESU even after the official end of support.
