Students at TU Darmstadt can currently use the service printing and scanning in the PC pools . This service will be switched off on 30.09.2024.

The service is only used to a limited extent, although the number of students on campus is back at a high level after the coronavirus lockdown, during which online lectures were increasingly introduced. Due to the low utilisation of the devices, it is no longer economical to continue operating them.

• All multifunctional devices for printing and scanning will be switched off on 30.09.2024.
• The printer queues associated with the devices will be deleted in the PC pools and on the print servers.
• The two transfer bookers for charging the print credit in the PC pools L1|01/054 and S1|02/030 will be switched off.
• The print credit is saved as at 30.09.2024 and made available for payment.

From 01.10.2024 users will be able to log in to the print credit payout portal (opens in new tab)with their TU-ID. The credit balance can be displayed there and a transfer order can be created. The bank details must be entered in the system for this.

The transfer orders are collected by the following deadlines and submitted to the bank for payment: 18.10.2024, 01.11.2024 and 29.11.2024.
