With its new “Digital HPC Café”, the Hessian Competence Center for High Performance Computing (HKHLR) offers a monthly consultation hour for concerns related to high-performance computing.
The offer is aimed at all users of the Hessian high-performance computers. Our experts are available online via BigBlueButton every first Thursday of the month from 10:30 to 11:30 am. If you have questions, for example, about computing on the clusters, about the software or about the efficient and sustainable use of the computers, then do not hesitate and take advantage of our new service offer.

With an appointment in advance, we offer guided tours for the Lichtenberg HPC.
The short tour with only the HPC server room takes about 45 minutes.
If you also want to see the cooling and other infrastructure adjacent to the HPC cluster, you should plan 1-1.5h for this premium tour.
During and after the tour, there is plenty of time and opportunity for questions (only inside the server room, noise will make discussions difficult).
We prefer group sizes of up to ⪯ 15 persons, yet with advice well in advance, we can also handle more in several stages, eg. in the scope of major events in your institute.
