New framework agreement for servers and workstations

The TU Darmstadt, together with other Hessian universities and colleges, has concluded a framework agreement for servers, HCI systems and workstations.
The new framework agreement for servers, HCI systems and workstations that TU Darmstadt, together with other Hessian universities and colleges, has concluded with the company Bechtle has been in effect since 1 July 2023. The manufacturer of the systems is Dell. The contract has an initial term of two years with the option of two one-year extensions.
Hardware, services and consulting
For procurements made on the basis of this contract, no invitations to tender or bid comparisons are necessary. In addition to hardware, services (e.g. for support during installation or also planning of complex conversions) can also be procured via the framework agreement.
In addition, the contractual partner Bechtle will also provide the usual advice on possible solutions that one is used to from system houses.
Irrespective of the web shop planned for the future, Bechtle recommends having the configuration of self-assembled systems checked by Bechtle.
Contract volume
Framework agreements always have an upper volume limit, which ends the framework agreement prematurely if exceeded.
To prevent this, we therefore ask you to involve Andreas Schönfeld at the HRZ (phone -71020 / andreas.schoenfeld@tu-…) in larger procurements (>200,000€).
