Since October 2008 it is possible to view the library's new building which is located between TU Darmstadt's old main complex and Otto-Bernd-Halle. The web cam is located above the staircase between building S1|02 und S1|03 and faces OSO. The left corner of its frame shows the south side of building S1|03. The bottom part of the frame displays building S1|02's roof.

Since August 2010 there is another camera showing the south side of the new building.
