‘Athene-Mail’
The central communication channel ‘Athene-Mail’, which also reaches all employees and/or all students, is reserved for the Presidential Board of TU Darmstadt to inform members of the university about selected important events.
The is responsible for sending these mail messages. An ‘Athene-Mail’ is commissioned by a member of the Executive Board, who also approves and authorises the content and acts as the sender. The SCC is involved in the planning of the content and timing of Athena mails. Science Communication Centre
In addition to these rules, the Executive Board has decided that the is authorised to send ‘Athena mails’ at any time in order to reach all TU members immediately in the event of acute IT security risks or attacks. TUDaCert team around the Chief Information Security Officer
User groups
All departments, institutions, university administration, university groups and student body of TU Darmstadt can order the service.
