If you would like to connect web services to the TU Darmstadt Single Sign-On (SSO) federation, please contact us, as we need to activate each individual service. Important condition: The service must be provided under a TU Darmstadt subdomain – *.tu-darmstadt.de. Domains outside this namespace cannot be connected.
The connected service can use the attributes provided to decide for itself which persons it wishes to allow.
SSO Participation
If you would like to participate in the single sign-on federation with your web service, please send a request to the HRZ-Service with the following information:
- a complete URL for the service (e.g. https://meineapplikation.tu-darmstadt.de/verzeichnis/*),
- a responsible IT representative for queries
- the desired attributes
- the protocol to be used for the connection
- any protocol-specific information.

With this data, we can quickly activate new services. Subsequent changes and the activation of additional URLs for testing are possible at any time.

It is also possible to try out the connection on our SSO test server first. We can create test users there for you to test authorisation assignments. Please submit a request as described above.
