How to ensure your payout before and after the portal closure

The portal for the payment of remaining credit balances for the “Printing and Scanning in the PC Pools” service, which was discontinued on 30.09.2024, will be shut down on 01.04.2026. After that date, payment can still be requested by email.

Login will no longer be possible without activated 2FA from 18.03.2026

From 18.03.2026, two-factor authentication (2FA) will be mandatory for single sign-on (SSO). Without 2FA enabled, you will no longer be able to access central services. If you have not yet set up 2FA, please do so now to avoid restrictions.

On 18.03.2026 between 8.00 a.m. and 09.00 p.m.

During the specified period a security update will be installed on the local Cisco UC servers of TU Darmstadt. Changes to telephone system settings cannot be made. The TUDa UC portal will be available with limited functionality. After 6.00 p.m. there will be a brief log out followed by a renewed login of the Jabber clients. Reconnection of the service may take up to 30 minutes. Webex clients and Alcatel users are not affected.

During the specified period there may be a brief outage of the IDM portal. Due to the redundant design of the system no further impact on users is expected.

On 24.02.2026 between 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 a.m.

During the Moodle maintenance period, login to Mahara and Panopto will not be possible.

University Computing Centre participates in nationwide event
