New solution for synchronising and sharing files from 15th February 2025

The Hessenbox DA will be replaced by the new next.Hessenbox at the beginning of 2025. With this changeover, the Hessian universities are taking a significant step together towards a modern and expanded offering for the universities in the state.

Die digitale Signalübertragung zum mittleren Projektor ist instabil. Nach einer gewissen Laufzeit bricht sie zusammen und der Beamer meldet einen HDMI-Fehler (am Eingang des Beamers). ​XTP-Receiver des mittleren Projektors wurde getauscht. Signalübertragung erfolgt über anderes Kabel im Robolift. Aktuell sieht es so aus, als ob damit die Störung behoben wurde. Rückmeldungen dazu bitte an mediendienste@hrz.tu-darmstadt.de

Im aktuellen Jabber Client (15.0) für Windows ist die Synchronisation der Kontaktliste gestört. Beim Anlegen von neuen Kontakten kann es zu einer Fehlermeldung kommen. Besonders betroffen sind Nutzer, welche sich zum ersten Mail anmelden bzw. ihren Jabber zurückgesetzt haben. Der Bug ist dem Hersteller bekannt und sollte in der nächsten Version gefixed sein. Desweiteren kann es vorkommen, daß 1:1 Chats nach einem Neustart des Jabber Clienten nicht mehr angezeigt werden. Auf Grund der Probleme wird über die Softwareverteilung die Version 14.3.1 wieder installiert werden. Im UC Portal steht die 14.3.1 zum Download zur Verfügung (TUID Login benötigt). https://csm.net.hrz.tu-darmstadt.de/ciscouc/ Die Version 15.0 muss vor der Installation der Version 14.3.1 deinstalliert werden. Andere Betriebssyteme sind nicht betroffen.

In Version 15.0 des Jabber Clienten für Macintosh Rechner gibt es einen Bug, welcher die Verbindung zum Exchange Service betrifft. Die Funktion wird von der TU Darmstadt nicht verwendet, aber der Client wirft trotzdem eine Fehlermeldung aus. Diese Fehlermeldung kann ignoriert werden.
